If a work is recognized as protected and hasn't been authorized for use, that poses a problem for the user. When you buy and read books that inspire you, copyright makes that possible because the fact that it's been marketed means you can read it.

However, like our European counterparts, we think that copyright legislation must be reviewed. We also think that the AI framework legislation should include provisions that protect copyright.
