Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I have a very specific question for my colleague. He just talked about the importance of giving businesses room to breathe because we are in an unprecedented crisis. Considering the need for breathing room and money, I would like to know whatever became of the taxpayer money that his party got from the Canada emergency wage subsidy.

Business of Supply  Madam Speaker, we just talked about the issues facing those who have been overlooked. We all agree that we participated in local tourism during this pandemic. However, there are cries for help. I would like to hear what my colleague has to say about a very specific industry that has an impact on tourism, and that is the aerospace industry.

Criminal Code  Madam Speaker, I thank my colleague for her question. I want to reiterate that we must do something quickly to make sure that what Mr. Nadeau went through never happens again. Nothing should be happening against the person's will. This bill will allow us to take action and to impose the necessary restrictions.

Criminal Code  Madam Speaker, I thank my colleague. It is appalling to think that people are still being discriminated against not only by parents or religious organizations, but also at work. I sincerely hope that the amendments in this bill are made. I mentioned that it is important to be respected and loved for who we are, and I think this is a step in the right direction for 2020.

Criminal Code  Madam Speaker, I thank my esteemed colleague for his question. Considering what we have to work with now, and considering that this bill was originally introduced last March, I think we need to get a move on. That is what I said earlier during my speech. We need to act fast.

Criminal Code  Madam Speaker, I am pleased to rise today to speak to an important bill, Bill C-6, an act to amend the Criminal Code with regard to conversion therapy. In my opinion, this bill should be passed quickly to ensure that LGBTQ2 individuals receive all the respect they deserve. Bill C-6 proposes to amend sections of the Criminal Code in order to create offences related to the practice of conversion therapy.

Petitions  Mr. Speaker, today I am presenting a timely petition. Whereas: Access to high-speed internet is not equitable across the country; Service is inadequate or simply non-existent; The pandemic has aggravated problems and regional inequities with respect to telework, telemedicine and distance education; Inadequate service is having a serious impact on the economic recovery; This tool is essential for the economic development of small, medium and large businesses, municipalities and organizations; Many regions are ready to roll out the network but cannot because of barriers involving applications for permits to access support structures (poles) belonging to businesses that own these sites; and In 2016, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) declared high-speed internet an essential service.

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I have a very simple question. After everything we have heard, could our leader please take a moment to explain to our future voters, with his usual eloquence and clear language, what is happening in the government in terms of public trust in relation to the pandemic?

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I would like us to take a moment to look back. What has happened over the past few months? A specific committee was created to investigate what went on with WE Charity, and it was making good progress. We had many pieces of the puzzle, but some were missing. Everyone agreed that we had to get all the way to the bottom of things.

Canada Post  Madam Speaker, I am taking a page from your pharmacy and talking about Christmas before Halloween is even over. Canada Post has already warned that it will not be able to handle Christmas deliveries. Two months to go and it has already thrown in the towel, instead of learning from the delays during the pandemic and making improvements.

Judges Act  Madam Speaker, it is important to have these concrete examples, which give us reason to believe in the outcome of the changes made to this bill. We are getting there and I am very proud of that. That being said, considering the comments and specific knowledge of some people, which my colleague talked about, I would like us to already be thinking about the longer term.

Judges Act  Madam Speaker, my hon. colleague's speech was heartfelt and touching. I was delighted to hear that women are well positioned and are capable of great things. I am acutely aware that many women need to be listened to more when they are in such vulnerable situations. My question is very simple.

Judges Act  Madam Speaker, I appreciate the question because I was involved in such cases in my previous career when I worked with community organizations. People would come to me, asking me if they would be believed and what would happen, considering the tools currently available. These people told me they were afraid.
