Health  Mr. Speaker, it does not matter what portfolio of vaccines we have if Canadians cannot get it until 2030. The Prime Minister did not answer the question I just asked him, which is very material. He said he has spent all this money on developing vaccine-manufacturing capacity.

Health  The Prime Minister said on Friday that it would be September before most Canadians would get access to a vaccine. Was it because he was distracted with the WE Charity scandal, the botched deal with CanSino or both?

Business of Supply  We need to be honest about a plan forward and about the impact of this. We need to have more targeted measures, better data and a plan on vaccines. To sit there, reading talking points off a computer screen instead of having a plan, instead of being able to say—

Business of Supply  Madam Chair, this is not a joke. We do not have a date and the Americans are about to vaccinate the equivalent of the entire population of Canada by the middle of January. Will the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine be available in Canada on January 15?

Health  I ask again, I beg the minister, when is she going to tell Canadians when they are going to produce a vaccine and give it to Canadians? Will she have to stand here in April and apologize to the families of 8,000 dead Canadians?

Health  Speaker, the minister talked about working with the provinces, but hours ago the Ontario health minister said that province is no longer expecting the delivery of any vaccine in early 2021. On Friday, the government tabled projections that showed that roughly 2,000 per month will die of COVID as we move forward. In April, will the minister have to stand here and apologize to the families of 8,000 Canadians for the fact that they died because she could not roll this vaccine out?

Health  Instead of saying to me what I should not believe or what I do not know, answer the question. Did you even bother to negotiate the right for Canada to manufacture these vaccines at home? Did you? Do we have the ability to do this, and when are Canadians going to get these vaccines?

Health  Mr. Speaker, we are 10 months into the COVID crisis and news of potential vaccines are starting to surface. However, for months, immunologists, pharmacists and public health officials have been asking the federal government to table a transparent plan on where Canada is on the list to receive a vaccine, how the vaccine will be delivered to Canadians and who will get it first.
