It's been required since the 1990s, I think, but after Ms. Duncan came in, we tightened up the requirements. Since that time, we have also implemented a number of initiatives related to safety in sport.

Canadian Heritage committee  The requirement for incident disclosure, training and third‑party access was of major importance in the announcement she made during her first year as minister. We then worked to implement these requirements and incorporate them into our contribution agreements. That is now an essential part of what we do with organizations.
