Government Operations committee  It increases the workload dramatically. Quite frankly, it's not just exodus. It's also people coming on as terms, people brought in as students, people who have different pay rules for administration. If you're genuinely concerned about this, I think it would be helpful for the employer to do an exit interview when pay compensation advisers are leaving their jobs.

Government Operations committee  The classification system is an antiquated system. I believe it was Madame Boudrias who spoke in December when she appeared in front of the committee and said that most of the job descriptions and the classification system itself are older than many of our members. They are 40-plus years old.

Government Operations committee  Remember that we have a group of members who work full-time for the government, who are leading a collective action for the compensation advisers community. They are not the employer. They don't have the information the employer has access to. They don't know how many transfers have taken place outside the compensation community.

Government Operations committee  Yes. I believe it was Madame Boudrias who gave evidence on December 12 that the work related to PA reform had not even started when she came in December. Our bargaining teams are meeting and have been trying to get the employer to make presentations with respect to where we are on the whole PA reform issue.
