Information & Ethics committee  There was a letter sent on September 29, 1995, in which the drafter--it was signed by a public servant of the Department of Justice, but I think the drafter was a member of the RCMP--was stating, without any attempt to make it conditional or anything like that, or to qualify it in any way, that this letter was of the utmost importance because it had to do with the criminal activities of the former Prime Minister of Canada, from the day he took office in 1984 to the day he left office in 1993.
