Public Services and Procurement  Mr. Speaker, it is shocking but not surprising to see the Conservative ideology on full display. We are seeing that Conservatives are willing to attack anyone and any institution that would fight climate change, even institutions that were voted for by the Parliament in 2001. Now the Conservatives are calling into question the integrity of one of the top accounting firms in the country.

Public Services and Procurement  Mr. Speaker, let us cut the drama. These Conservatives are so against climate change that they want to cut one of the institutions that funds clean technology in this country. The moment we learned about the allegation, we launched an investigation. We took remedial action. The chair of the board has resigned.

Public Services and Procurement  Mr. Speaker, what Canadians, those watching at home, cannot stand anymore is the fact that these Conservatives are making up stories and allegations. They saw last week what they are able to do. Let me get the facts straight. The moment we learned about the allegation we took action and, by the way, the chair that the member referred to served under a Conservative government.

Public Services and Procurement  Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for his question and his dramatic performance. I am sure he will get an important part. In terms of facts, I think that Canadians will stick to what we are saying. As I said, the moment we learned about the allegations, we launched an investigation.

Climate Change  Mr. Speaker, we take no lessons from the Conservatives. Last week, they voted against the aerospace industry. They voted against tourism businesses. They voted against the Plains of Abraham. Imagine that, the Plains of Abraham. The member for Louis-Saint-Laurent should be ashamed to have voted against the Plains of Abraham.

Questions on the Order Paper  Mr. Speaker, the Government of Canada believes that food affordability is a critical issue facing all Canadians and is taking a series of actions to promote the stabilization of grocery prices. As part of this effort, the government has called on companies throughout the food supply chain, both grocers and suppliers, to take meaningful actions to stabilize grocery prices.

Automotive Industry  Madam Speaker, it is so outrageous to hear the Conservatives. Not only did I read the contract, but I also negotiated the contract. These guys have never seen it, and they make all these claims. They have all these numbers. They do not know what they are talking about. It is not me who is saying that, but the leader of Unifor.

Automotive Industry  Madam Speaker, it is always so outrageous for Canadians to hear the Conservatives make such crazy allegations. Not only have they been against the Stellantis deal, but they have also been against the Volkswagen deal. They are against the Northvolt deal. They are against the Ford deal, and they are against the GM deal.

Public Services and Procurement  Madam Speaker, Canadians are tired of the Conservatives spreading misinformation across the nation. They are getting influenced, I do not know by whom, but it is very concerning. The agency the member is talking about has been helping hundreds, if not thousands, of companies in Canada for a number of decades.

Public Services and Procurement  Madam Speaker, the extent the Conservatives go to talk down our economy and small and medium-sized businesses is amazing. I would tell the member on the other side to be prudent because that particular organization has helped companies across the nation with clean technology. One thing is true for Canadians.

Public Service and Procurement  Madam Speaker, I thank my colleague for his question. I would caution him to be careful because the decision that we announced yesterday was based on national security. We have to be careful when it comes to matters of national security. I have good news, and the people in the Canadian aerospace industry clearly understand that.

Grocery Industry  Madam Speaker, I will not take the “little” meeting personally. I am sure he was not referring to me when he said that. In fact, it was a big meeting. It was the first time in Canada's history that we had the five largest grocers in Canada. What I did was express the frustration of 40 million Canadians.
