Pursuant to subsection 79.22 of the Parliament of Canada Act, it is my duty to present

Chief Electoral Officer  I have the honour to lay upon the table the report of the Chief Electoral Officer on alternative signatures. This report is deemed permanently referred to the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs.

Petitions  We have many members who wish to present petitions today. I would ask members therefore to try to be very brief in presenting their petitions, although at the end I will see if there is agreement to perhaps allow a little extra time.
