Indigenous and Northern Affairs committee  I would just like to add to that answer by specifically mentioning the Université du Québec's strategic plan. The last plan that I agreed to work on, as a member of the Board of Directors, takes its inspiration from the principle of developing services for the First Nations by devoting a university pavilion to them, with a view to allowing First Nations to eventually take control.

Indigenous and Northern Affairs committee  The important feature of this project is that it will have a unifying effect. By that I mean that the project reflects a desire on the part of both the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities. It has been in discussion for four years now. Everyone taking part in those discussions is well aware of the project, at both the provincial and federal levels.
