Canadian Heritage committee  Thank you, Mr. Chair. It's an honour to appear in front of you, and thank you for the opportunity to discuss the future of the CBC. I personally have been participating in these kinds of discussions. I was telling my colleagues here that I started in 1959, and I've been involved directly in Canadian television since that time.
