It's our experience as first nation people that our elders are included in everything we do. We would not appreciate our elders not being included in something like this.

We rely on our elders for their experience and wisdom. That is why I believe a lot of other tribes and parties prior to our presentation indicated that we would like to see our elders involved in the selection of judges, and that type of thing.
