Industry committee  I come from Bell myself. There are a number of assumptions in what you said, but it is certain that CEP has been opposed to raising the restrictions on foreign policy for more than 35 years. Here we're talking about Videotron, Bell and Telus, but Bell and Videotron are the ones I know best as regards the modernization of their networks and high-speed Internet access in particular.

Industry committee  I'll continue in French. The fact is that Canada does not make sense to economists. They do not like large, sparsely populated areas. They think that people who live outside of cities should pay for that privilege, and that policies that support rural Canada are wrong-headed. We disagree—and so do Canadians, especially those who are fortunate enough to live in places like Erin, Nipissing or Chicoutimi.
