Environment committee  The panels have the statutory obligation that was made clear by court cases to fulfill all the requirements of CEAA, and it's for them to be satisfied in each case that they have all the information they need to report back to the minister.

We are certainly looking forward to the renewal of this funding, but we will obviously have to wait until the budget to see whether or not these funds are renewe

Environment committee  Yes. Concerning the 50% reduction you alluded to, I imagine that you were talking about the reduction in the budget of the agency for the period after 2014-2015. As the minister explained a little earlier, these are funds that were allocated to the agency in Budget 2012, i.e. $8
