Public Accounts committee  Mr. Chair, thank you for this opportunity to discuss the Auditor General's status report on internal audit. As a recently appointed chief audit executive, I found the Auditor General's report to be very informative. I support the Auditor General's overall conclusion that the function of internal audit is now stronger and plays a larger role than it was providing in 2004.
