Finance committee  Let me start on that. First of all, the Mental Health Commission is covering a range of things. We have a range of programs. We look at suicide prevention, the PTSD, as fleshing out that suite of programs. We think there is a real urgency to deal with the suicide prevention issue because of the very high levels of suicide in our indigenous communities.

Finance committee  Mr. Chairman and committee members, it's great to be back with you after many years. Let me talk a bit about suicide prevention. Today, more than 10 people will die by suicide, and many more will attempt to do so. Suicide is a top ten cause of death in Canada and is devastating for the families and communities who are left behind.
