International Trade committee  I will pose the question anyway. How does the government plan to offset job losses in domestic-oriented, labour-intensive production caused by the preferential treatment that TPP gives to capital-intensive, export-oriented industries? Does the government have any concern about the increase in wealth inequality that this dynamic produces?
