Indigenous and Northern Affairs committee  I'm not a lawyer. I'm not into any of this. All I know is that I don't understand different statuses—of paragraph 6(1)(a), 6(1), 6(2), or whatever it is. As far as I'm concerned, an Indian simply is an Indian. I don't understand why there are different levels of status. My mother was Indian enough to be in a residential school.
