What we do know is that there was no national strategy or national approach in place by the RCMP on how to improve the staffing for the FNIPP, the first nations and Inuit policing program.

We didn't do a direct comparison of amounts available to indigenous versus non-indigenous communities. As the Auditor General said, the policy for this program is explicit that equitable funding arrangements should be in place.
