Transport committee  When you say an opportunity to do training, do you mean an opportunity to become a flight instructor, or to do training for oneself?

Transport committee  Okay. Training for oneself is always done in the context of the company you're working for, and it is paid for by that company. If I work for Sunwing and I fly a 737, Sunwing is going to pay for my 737-type training annually. That's the only thing that's applicable to that pilot

Transport committee  For my part, I wouldn't care to comment on how businesses allocate their funds or pay their fees, but certainly there's room for discussion on decreasing taxes on fuel, particularly in Ontario.

Transport committee  I can't say that definitively. I would say that would be up to each individual business.

Transport committee  There's no matching spending right now. For all capital expenses, it would be up to the business to front 100% of the costs.

Transport committee  It's possible. As you know, there are a wide variety of municipalities that host flight schools. Some have more means than others. I would say that as far as infrastructure investments and facilities and whatnot go, that might very well be a good source of revenue to look at. I
