Finance committee  Definitely, having active players in industry and really utilizing the investment tax credits for first nations.... We are taxpayers, but we are not fulfilled the same way with our equitable or equal opportunities. We could be in major projects such as this. My first nation, Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation, and Bayside Corporate have developed a lot of procedures, policies and frameworks that support us in having tax power in our first nation and actually exercising and utilizing it in our jurisdiction.

I'm Rose Paul, and I am the CEO and president of the Bayside Development Corporation, which is the business arm of the Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation.
