We found those to be unauthorized scrapings. With our 11 international counterparts from six continents, we issued a joint statement on data scraping and directed that to social media companies, asking them to discuss how they comply with the expectations we identified in that statement.

We have the ability not only to ask questions but also to ask that those be sworn and, finally, to verify through testing, either remotely or on site.
