We purchased the tool and we have it, and from my understanding we've had it since 2018. The tool has been available to us but has never been used.

I must say that we don't always need to use these tools to conduct investigations. The department's internal investigations concern the actions of public servants, for example. The various tools include our computer investigation tool, which is available as needed.
