Justice committee  I can't comment on individual cases, but I can tell you that when individuals have demonstrated repeated behaviour that we believe to be in violation of our code, we follow up directly with them, and we have done so.

Justice committee  The answer is yes. I mentioned that the incident from the history was in the Temerty faculty of medicine, and their training now includes a module exactly on this very issue.

Justice committee  Madam Chair, I want to thank the member for his question. I can answer it in a couple of ways. First of all, our code of student conduct indeed notes that vexatious conduct directed at one or more specific individuals is potentially evidence of discriminatory conduct or harassment.

Justice committee  In the current context, they are certainly experienced as anti-Semitic. It's for that reason we have reported certain incidents to the Toronto Police Service. I would say that the proper place is—

Justice committee  My answer is that the individual who authored the definition, Kenneth Stern, was very clear in noting it is not appropriate for use in a university environment. The answer is no for those reasons.
