Public Safety committee  My task is easier in the sense that the National Parole Board had a business plan prepared a year and a half ago, before I was appointed chairperson. The Treasury Board approved additions to the budget to the tune of $10 million in 2005-06. Therefore, the National Parole Board does have what it needs to function properly at this point in time, because there was action taken by my predecessor.
