I've heard all the witnesses talk about how valuable it is, and it is valuable, but to a lot of our producers, it's very cumbersome. It's very complicated to get into for a marginal farmer who's just eking by most years. When farmers look at the cost and what the benefits are and are not fully understanding what the program is, I think more needs to be done in one-on-one communication with AAFC and the province.
I was on a call a couple of weeks ago. It is confusing to listen to all of the details. I think more could be done. It's a great program, but I think more has to be done to communicate and to make things easier for producers.
