No, not at all. Like a lot of other unions, we're in the courts, with the government using section 107.
I know there are at least two or three other unions in the courts. We believe the government oversteps in a number of cases. We've maintained for the last few years, since section 107 started to be used by this government, that government should stay the hell out of bargaining and that the only place a collective agreement can be found is at a bargaining table with both sides, maybe with the help of a mediator.
As soon as the employers know that the government may or will intervene in trying to end the dispute, things dry up at the bargaining table. We've seen that time and time again.
We're in the courts. We're going to continue through the courts. We know our fundamental rights as enshrined in the Constitution and in the Charter of Rights. We have the right to withdraw our service when needed, and we're going to maintain that as we move forward.
