Turning to Electricity Canada, we talk about energy sovereignty and building our electrical grids east-west, as opposed to north-south with our southern neighbours. You've done research that found additional interprovincial interties could reduce outage risks by almost 70% during extreme weather.
Since Bill C-39 would make the Canada Energy Regulator the lead federal review authority for interprovincial transmission projects, how would those reforms help accelerate and construct the new interties and help build our energy independence?
