The age verification component is valuable when it talks about downloading the app and who's watching social media. However, when it comes to putting content on social media, we effectively punt this to the parents. We say that if the parents are okay with this video—with this production—because they're the ones who have to own the account, that's effectively their responsibility.
Honestly, I don't think age verification is really going to help us here, beyond a point. Ultimately, we have a responsibility to say that there's harm being done, that this harm is being done irrespective of the de facto age, and that people are profiting from that. That is a broader, wider, more societal problem.
