One thing we don't often say is that, under the Quebec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms, everyone has the right to information. Another thing you explained very well is that not only are people entitled to information, they need information. I can attest to the ratings at CHAU. When CHAU airs a news report on the Gaspésie or the Îles de la Madeleine, it resonates.
So the solution you're proposing, and we support you on it, is to have the government offer compensation for its approach, which may have been balanced at the outset, but which, given the GAFAM lawsuit, is no longer balanced. So you're proposing that the government give you transitional measures to increase your funding, at least temporarily.
