When someone submits for compensation, when they submit for funding, they're stating how many newsroom employees they have. They're stating which region they operate in. They're stating their business model. Are they not-for-profit? Are they for-profit?
There are various parts of our program administration that they share with us upon application. Some of this is shared when we post our information publicly about who received the funding. We're also going to share in the next round what member class they're a part of. This will be helpful for people who are looking for transparency and who's getting funding. You'll see how many community radio stations, how many large publishers, how many broadcasters, etc., there are.
