Mr. Beamish, in less than three years, Ballet Vancouver has made incredible strides in the development of B.C.'s performing arts sector and in the professional classical ballet space. You have been instrumental in repatriating top Canadian talent from other countries and from some companies, such as the American Ballet Theatre and San Francisco's ballet company, etc.
How important is the repatriation and the retention of professional artists to our cultural sovereignty?
