Mr. Chair, I hear calls for more, and I appreciate the enthusiasm with which all members have listened to my argument this morning. But again, the basic principle that we're debating here, or at least discussing--or at least one of us is discussing--is that there was a fundamental breach of protocol. There is nothing more than that at stake here. And while I appreciate the fact that Mr. Rodriguez wants to have his bill brought before this committee as quickly as possible—and I'm sure there are other members who would like to debate the merits of the bill that Mr. Rodriguez wants to bring forward—the fact is that it has to be done within the confines of the protocols established by this committee.
