If we look at the matter very dispassionately, artificial intelligence uses the data we provide to it. There is a saying that goes, “junk in, junk out”. We see it in the case of artificial intelligence; hallucinations or false information are common. Sometimes, we even have to compare the data to finally get accurate information.
We are now at a point where just as much good as bad could come from artificial intelligence. We agree on that point.
Should we not instead have a system that adapts our legislation as quickly as technology evolves?
I’ll explain. Many good things will come from artificial intelligence in the fields of medicine, energy or science, for example. Artificial intelligence can think 24 hours a day and advance technologies we humans aren’t even thinking about. So, there is a positive side.
