You're absolutely right, especially in the context where we are being threatened by the U.S. We purchase most of our computational power from the U.S., from American data centres. If the U.S. suddenly decided to cut us off or limit our access to this power, it would greatly hinder our economy.
In short, digital sovereignty is important. We need our own data centres and the ability to do what we want here at home, without having to depend on another country.
