My view is that screens, which used to be called walls, named after a very large wall in China—now the more favoured language is screens—have been observed for decades in governments and in the private sector. Private sector accounting firms, law firms and even lobbying firms use these walls or screens to ensure there is integrity so that people who are not supposed to be seeing files don't see them.
