My concern is that if we only look at replacing our end of life-cycle infrastructure by one determinant called “get me the cheapest system available”, we will be passing down to our kids a system that is guaranteed to be less reliable than the one we inherited. We say low prices, but let's marry that with the indispensable value we attach to electricity, which means that we also want to pay for that reliability and quality.
