I heard from a constituent who would like to get the Black Brook enhancement facility reinstated. That was shut down in the 1990s. DFO told him that the only way they would approve salmon enhancement on a river is if that river's run was in danger of being extinct.
With the environmental factors that salmon are facing these days, especially with high temperatures in July and August, how do you feel about that attitude towards enhancement?
