Those subsidiaries are already subject to Canada's export permit requirements. The UN ATT will represent the fourth set of rules and regulations. When goods and services come from the United States, not only do the export permits from the United States follow those goods and services, but they are also swept up when they are implemented within Canadian platforms in Canada's export regime leaving the country. When both coming in and leaving the country, the goods and services are subject to Canadian export laws and permits and those from the receiving country.
