Let me say a couple of things. First of all, the study to which you refer refers to breaches that occurred over a 10-year period, some of which occurred during the currency of our government, but some of which were not. I would tell you that certainly after 2006, we've instituted a number of measures to protect citizens' private data more robustly, including veterans' privacy rights charter, and more broadly, a mandate that requires each governmental department to protect the data and to report any breaches of that data.
I think we have a much more robust system of protection now than in the past. Having said that, let me agree with my honourable colleague that any breach of data, when it occurs, is a serious matter and should be treated as such by governmental officials.
