Stop with the new shiny programs. Stop with the research programs. We spend millions of dollars. I see the money distributed to research on veteran homelessness, “Let's do a new shiny-penny research program.” We need basic needs funded. We need homeless programs put in place, the basics. Stop with the new shiny programs and research projects. Let's dole out some funding to organizations that have a proven track record of getting work done on behalf of our veterans.
