We are a national organization, so we deal with veterans right across the country, including in rural areas. It's definitely challenging.
At our headquarters in Nova Scotia, we have a veterans food bank. We deliver, but we only deliver, at this point, within two hours of the food bank. We have veterans who live beyond that point, and they'll schedule their visits to our food bank when they're coming into the city for medical appointments, visits to the VAC office or that sort of thing.
They have to travel to access those resources, and it's difficult. We have veterans who reach out to us all the time and ask us if we can help with a gas card to get to appointments, because they have to travel a couple of hours to get to those appointments. Rural veterans definitely struggle a bit more.
