It's really important that we get to this study. It's really important to first nations communities. It's really important to Manitoba.
Now, I'm here as a guest, but I'm seeing something here that is a really important matter to be studied. Twice now, the chair has ruled that the interruptions coming from the Conservatives on things that are not related to this study so they can get to their study are taking us away from getting to a very important point, and I want it to be on camera. I want the indigenous people across Canada and all people in Manitoba to see and hear what's going on right now with this important issue that needs to be addressed and needs to be spoken to and voted on. I want them to know that the Conservatives won't allow it to happen.
I would think that they should—

I really agree with you. I spent over a decade in Winnipeg, not only involved in hospital, but running the funeral home, and one of the things that I would like you to consider in your study is that we look also at provinces other than Manitoba, and that we look at syphilis.
Syphilis has become just as major as HIV in Alberta. I'm wondering if you would possibly consider expanding your study to take in syphilis as well as HIV, because it is in the same community that we're discussing that these outbreaks are occurring, and it has become very problematic in Alberta. If you'd like me to move a motion for that, I certainly would.
