But in the off-line discussion I had with the Speaker, one of his concerns was what would happen in the future, if a similar situation arose with a party that wasn't recognized as a party in the House, with regard to the grouping or pooling of limited questions. Perhaps the clerk would want to respond to that particular concern.
It might thus be Madam Redmond's suggestion that we could solve this through the four whips' having a conversation with the Speaker, and obviously including the Clerk in that discussion, or perhaps we would need something more formal to address the issue.
