Cabinet confidences are specifically exempt from the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act. The Canada Evidence Act authorizes the Clerk of the Privy Council to ensure that cabinet confidences are not disclosed. Under those acts, is there a clear definition of cabinet confidence?
