It's surprising to me that even in your questioning, the Conservatives talked about law and order. That's a big thing they talk about. Is it correct that you were disbarred from two law societies for having the Chief Justice of Manitoba tailed and surveilled? Is that true, Mr. Carpay?

No, it's not true. I resigned from the Law Society of Alberta in 2023. I've not been disbarred in Manitoba. I've never been a member there. After I resigned from the Law Society of Alberta, after disciplinary proceedings were fully concluded in Manitoba, the Alberta law society decided to commence a brand new prosecution. That is the status of where things are at.
I'm not sure what this has to do with civic resilience, with respect.
