I want to thank you for being with us today. I also want to commend you for your exceptional work. You have managed to make the Government of Canada acknowledge or accept the United Nations convention. While we do not meet you very often, we do follow what you are doing as we do our own work.
As for the study we intend to conduct, as was decided by the committee, on the obstacles person with disabilities have to contend with, I would like to hear your comments. Mr. Bach, if I understood you well, you are not convinced that a study with this kind of focus can lead to any progress. However, based on Mr. Rae's comments and what you just said, I am left with the impression that it may be helpful.
