The reason I ask is that it will come back to us at committee probably two or three years later if we aren't able to absorb them and make them permanent residents in our spots. That will be another argument for their having to wait in a temporary situation without permanent status. It would be good to know so that we know that the levels meet the target.
Will 5,500 applications be sufficient to accommodate the demand for live-in caregivers in Canada? Have you looked at what the demand has been over the years?
