It's huge. Managers are a dime a dozen. Anyone can be a manager, but not anyone can fix airplanes. It takes a lot of skill, labour, time and education to do it properly. Sometimes, yes, it's tough, but you have to be able to keep the ones you have. It's generational. There are a lot of people who are third-generation aircraft mechanics now.
