Let's think about electricity system planning. If you look at utilities, they're supposed to plan what the grid is going to look like and where they're going to put their investments. When you're telling them that we're going to have a bunch of EVs coming online but they don't have any idea of whether it's going to be 100,000 or 300,000, that really impacts their ability to plan for that growth.
When we're looking at planning for growth, would this act as an investment anchor, in the sense that it anchors the demand in something that can be tangibly calculated so that they can look at the distribution investment they're going to do? Similarly, for the charging infrastructure people, having some idea of how the market is going to evolve is going to be really helpful for something that is changing very rapidly.
