I don't have to. I don't answer to you.

I'd like you to enforce the rules on relevancy and repetition.

I am. Now I'm enforcing the rules on heckling around this table. For the sake of decorum, I would ask you to keep it down.

Mr. Turnbull has the floor.

Yes, Mr. Sorbara.

On a quick point of order, perhaps we can avoid some of the crosstalk and focus on the issue at hand.

Mr. Perkins, if Mr. Turnbull is repeating comments, then you can rise on a point of order and state that. Let's do it the proper way, and we can get through what we need to get through.

I'd like to propose an amendment.

I propose removing sections (b) and (c) of this. I think “names of any and all meeting attendees” is perfectly acceptable and could be produced in pretty short order.

I would amend the motion by excluding (b) and (c).

The Chair Liberal Joël Lightbound

There's an amendment to remove (b) and (c). You've all heard the proposed amendment by Mr. Turnbull.

Do we have unanimous consent for removing (b) and (c)?

(Amendment agreed to [See Minutes of Proceedings])

We're back to the motion as amended by Mr. Lemire and subsequently by Mr. Turnbull.

Do we have unanimous consent to adopt the motion, or should I put it to a vote? I see no more speakers.

We'll go to a recorded division on the motion as amended.

(Motion as amended agreed to: yeas 10; nays 0 [See Minutes of Proceedings])

Thank you, Mr. Masse. You scared me for a while. We're back to our traditional consensus style of work here at the committee. I'm happy about that. It's passed unanimously.

Thank you, everyone, for your collaboration on this. It brings us straight to the hour.

We stayed on time and on budget.

Thank you very much to the interpreters, support staff and analysts.

I wish you all a good week in your respective ridings, a good weekend and a good evening.

The meeting is adjourned.
